series TRAJECTORY

This series 'Trajectory' emerged from memories and inspirations, the wish to explore directional movement as code for a society driven by progressivist- and technological determinism, and relentless thirst for speed and performance - accelerationism. Industrial tapes and its colors rather than paint was part of the conceptual choice. Compositions of high-contrast colors intensify functional feel and sensation of speed. The lead question in 'Trajectory' was "where are we moving" - not looking back. 'Trajectories' are constructed mappings and systems of movements, pushing and pulling the eyes of viewers across the surfaces and beyond. Composition in conjunction with given City-names illustrate their energetic logic.
