series REMINISCENCE

Reminiscence is a series in acrylic paintings on white plexiglass exploring 'emotional resonance'.

While the series 'Recollection' is about an analytical process of retrieving memories, Reminiscence is about rediscovery and vitality echoing sensations of the moment.

Forms like airborne are suspended into the white "negative" space, evolve like gestures with movement and velocity, like calligraphy expressing the very moment of becoming rather than being retrieved from the archives of memory. 

In this series Reminiscence, with its sweeping, luminous colored gestures suggesting continuous transformation, I explore the merging of memories with sensations of the instance.

All painting are painted in acyrilic on Plexiglas. Size of RECOLLECTIONS 1 to 7: 60cm / 90cm; RECOLLECTIONS 8 to 12_ 60cm / 60cm.
