series STRATOSPHERIC 

The series 'Stratospheric' is a follow-up from the series 'Heritage'. Switzerland is hit particularly severe by the climate warming that destabilizes and transforms ecosystems, thus presenting the serious threat of the "tipping-point" with its regime-shift to humankind. The climate crisis questions human's relationship and disconnection with the natural world. This becomes evident in the difference between "before" and the "after" state, which initially seems hidden till the disruption becomes perceivable due the accelerated speed of changes. Affected by what Glenn Albrecht defined as eco-emotions like econ-anxiety, humans may suffer from "psychoterratic syndromes", linking health dependent on human home/territory relationship. The experiment 'Stratospheric' is about the vulnerability and instability, the confrontation with looming elemental alterations.
