series RECOLLECTION

'Recollection' is a series of paintings in acrylic paint on white plexiglass.

Forms evoking traces of organisms and life are suspended into a white and silent space which accentuates these fragments of memories.

The fragments with their dragging, directional gestures of paint, as if emotional residue of multiple timelines and distorted memories, once collide into rupture,  just to emerge and to be transformed into a vitality.

In this series I explore the process of Recollection of gathering fragmented memories - like an emotional archeology, where traces of the past shall trigger the viewers consciousness and imagination to bring alive and rediscover sensations and vitality. 

All painting are painted in acyrilic on Plexiglas. Size of RECOLLECTIONS 1 to 7: 60cm / 90cm; RECOLLECTIONS 8 to 12_ 60cm / 60cm.
